Sakura Awards – Japan Women’s wine Award

Sakura Award, the most important international wine competition in Japan, with a an entirely female panel.

The Sakura Award is the second world wine competition, with female judges including only women who are wine experts and businesswomen in the field of wine and haute cuisine. Furthermore, the name Sakura means “cherry blossoms”, hence its connection to an entirely female competition.

Mundus Vini – International Wine Award

Il Premio Internazionale del Vino è stato istituito nel 2001. Già nell’anno d’esordio il Concorso enologico ha visto la partecipazione di ben 2235 vini provenienti da tutte le importanti zone di produzione del mondo. Dal 2002 il Premio Internazionale del Vino MUNDUS VINI è organizzato con il patrocinio degli organismi internazionali OIV (Organisation Internationale de la Vigne et du Vin, Parigi) ed Union Internationale des Œnologues (UIOE, Parigi).

Vinitaly International Wine Competition

This competition is organized by Ente Fiera di Verona – the authority for Verona’s fairs. It is one of the accessory events further to Vinitaly and its aim is to spotlight the best wine production, to let both the consumers and the experts know about it, and to introduce to the general public the most distinctive types of wine coming from different countries.
