The Salentine winery Varvaglione Vigne & Vini is glad to announce its participation at “Salone Internazionale dei Vini Rosati, ROSÉXPO 2015” – the 2015 ROSÉXPO, International Rosé Wine Exhibition – organized by “deGusto Salento”, the association of Negroamaro producers with the support of the Apulian region.
During the 2015 Vinitaly fair, the wines by Varvaglione Vigne & Vini achieved resounding success, gaining a Silver Medal and the Gran Menzione recognitions.
The wine expert and critic Luca Maroni awards 90 points to the wine “12 e mezzo-Malvasia del Salento IGP 2013” by Varvaglione Vigne & Vini, that becomes the second best white wine in the Apulian region.
This pleasantness rate – carefully judged by Luca Maroni, a sensorial analyst and one of the best world-renowned experts for the Italian wine – allows the “12 e mezzo-Malvasia del Salento 2013” to be awarded the category Prize.
Such an eminent recognition is going to be granted at the opening event of I Migliori Vini Italiani 2015 – Taranto, during the gala night on 12th 14th June 2015 at Palazzo Pantaleo in Taranto.

A show for laughs. “CABARnET – Cabaret in Cantina” – a comedy in the winery – is a funny show created and produced by the cultural association “Sirio”, under the patronage of Regione Puglia – Area Politiche per lo sviluppo Rurale – the Rural Development Department of Apulia – to promote “Prodotti di qualità Puglia”, a brand for quality products made in Apulia, in cooperation with different Apulian wineries, including Varvaglione Vigne & Vini.
Emergency is a charity organization set in 1994 and aimed at offering free cares to the victims of antipersonnel mines and poverty. In the last 20 years, this organization has taken care of 6 million victims in 16 countries, thanks to the support by different companies, authorities and private citizens.
