A new award to Varvaglione Vigne e Vini love for wines on the 2015 Berebene guide by Gambero Rosso

“Berebene 2015”, the well-known guide by Gambero Rosso, has always selected the best Italian wines for the quality/price ratio and it rewards the best labels of each Italian region. Among them, the 2015 Berebene guide has honoured the Salentine winery Varvaglione Vigne e Vini with the Quality/Price award for one of its excellent wines: “Moi-Primitivo di Manduria DOP 2012”.

Christmas 2014: Varvaglione Vigne & Vini joins Emergency all over Italy

Emergency is a charity organization set in 1994 and aimed at offering free cares to the victims of antipersonnel mines and poverty. In the last 20 years, this organization has taken care of 6 million victims in 16 countries, thanks to the support by different companies, authorities and private citizens. Last year, after the help of more than 700 companies taking part to Emergency events, over €1.100.000,00 were raised and their net was devolved to Programma Italia

The new ‘Margrande-Fiano del Salento IGP’ – introduced by the Salentine winery Varvaglione Vigne & Vini in September 2014 – has soon aroused the curiosity of many lovers of Italian high quality wines.

Among them, the request to taste and review this new wine was sent to Varvaglione Vigne & Vini by Franco Ziliani, a journalist of ‘Cucchiaio d’Argento’ who has been cultivating his passion for tastings for thirty years, with a special wine appreciation for Apulia and its wines.
